Bohemian Style Floral Design Course at the Boerma Instituut

At the Boerma Instituut, we have been offering the fun and educational 2-day Bohemian Style Floral Design Course for several years!
Bohemian floral designs are characterized by a rustic look and casual flower placement with an open silhouette. The use of flowing foliage such as Eucalyptus and Asparagus, combined with beautiful open summer or autumn flowers, is common. Sometimes dried materials are also used. All these elements together create a romantic and dreamy appearance.

Course Program

Day 1

• Theory on Bohemian style floral designs
• Bohemian style hand-tied bouquet
• Bohemian style design in chicken wire

Day 2

• Table design with an open silhouette
• A flower crown

Recommended: We recommend mastering the cornflower technique before taking this course. If you have never made a bouquet, please start with the Hand-Tied Bouquets Level 1 course.

• Wednesday, April 9 & Thursday, April 10

• Wednesday, June 25 & Thursday, June 26

• Wednesday, September 24 & Thursday, September 25

Costs and Requirements

The cost for the course is € 249.50. Unfortunately, payment in installments is not possible.
All necessary materials are included in the price, such as:

• Flowers, foliage, and accessories
• Foam and other bases for the designs
• Additional materials such as ribbons, beads, pins, feathers
• Flower tape and various wires
• Boerma Institute English-language participation certificate

Coffee, tea, soft drinks, and lunch are included, but tools are not. It is advisable to bring a knife and scissors. If needed, these can be purchased at our shop or online store.
