During this two-day course, you will discover the professional approach to creating advanced hand-tied bouquets. We will delve deeper into various techniques and styles, including:
- Frame Bouquets: Learn how to create your own frames for unique and creative bouquets.
- Gathered Bouquets: Explore the natural and playful charm of this popular style.
- Cascade Bouquets: Create bouquets with a flowing, elegant appearance.

Program
Day 1: Frame bouquet & gathered bouquet.
Day 2: Cascade bouquet & one-sided (funeral) bouquet.
Upon completion of the course, you will receive an English-language certificate of participation.

International Setting
The Boerma Instituut is an international school that provides a unique learning environment. The courses are generally taught in Dutch, but if international participants attend, the course is conducted bilingually (Dutch and English). If there are enough international participants, the course can be fully taught in English.
Practical Information
Course Dates 2026:
- Thursday, April 9 & Friday, April 10, 2026

- Tuesday, December 1 & Tuesday, December 2, 2026
Class Times:
10:00 AM – 3:45 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break and a 15-minute coffee break.

Note: Tools are not included but can be easily purchased through our webshop. Order your tools in advance, and we will make sure they are ready for you on the first day of class.

After attending Hand-tide bouquets level 1 course I continued with this level 2 course. The course was well structured and focused on more advanced bouquet forms such as frame, gathered, cascade bouquets and funeral arrangements.
I appreciated the practical approach very much. The techniques were demonstrated clearly and individuals got enough attention and feedback both during the exercises and by showing finished examples. The seasonal materials were abundant and fresh. I had great fun working with different bouquet structures and also felt inspired to continue to the next level.
The atmosphere was international but relaxed. I would recommend anyone who already has spiral technique experience to sign up for this course, a nice intro to the floral world.
