After successfully completing the Professional Dutch or International Floral Design Course (DFD), the Boerma Institute offers the opportunity to continue developing with the Advanced Dutch Floral Design Course (ADFD). This advanced program is ideal for those looking to further develop their creativity and elevate their skills to a higher level.
This international course is fully taught in English and lasts four weeks, with five class days per week. The course focuses on refining your design techniques and mastering advanced floral arranging methods. Upon successful completion, you will receive the Advanced Dutch Floral Design diploma, a certification that is internationally recognized within the floral industry.
What you will learn in the Advanced Floral Design Course (ADFD)
This course takes you beyond the basics of floral design. While the DFD course focuses on the fundamentals, the ADFD program concentrates on developing your own style and creating unique designs. This includes using different techniques, materials, and styles that you can apply in practice.
The program covers the following topics:
- High-Level Bridal Work:
- Cascading bridal bouquets
- Frame bridal bouquets
- Floral jewelry and bridal bouquets without standard handles
- Advanced Funeral Floral Work:
- Innovative urn decorations
- Experimental funeral arrangements and classic wreaths
- Teardrop and modern linear funeral designs
- Creative Arrangements:
- Working with vegetables and fruit
- Vegetative and corporate floral pieces
- Free-form arrangements with structures and foam-free techniques
- Event and Project Design:
- Car and event space decoration
- Collaborating on group projects from concept to final result
- Flower arrangement using tubes and a handmade framework using recycled materials

Times: Every day from 10:00 AM to 3:45 PM, including breaks.
Cost: €3,950 – all-inclusive (flowers, lunch, exams, and diploma included).
When registering for all three courses (DFD, ADFD, and MDFD), you will receive a 10% discount on the total amount.

- All necessary flowers, foliage, and containers
