Becoming an International Master Florist
This 24-day vocational education is fully taught by Gregor Lersch himself and is split into two modules:
First Module:
- Starts on Monday, November 10, 2025, and ends on Friday, November 21, 2025.
- Includes a Zoom meeting in January, 2026, and another Zoom meeting in March.
Second Module:
- Starts on Monday, Monday, April 13th, 2026, with homework assignments in between.
- On Saturday, April 18th, 2026, there is a prep day for the exam. Participants will work on their exam designs from 10:00 – 16:00 at the school.
- On Saturday, April 25th, 2026, from 12:00 to 15:00, there is the Open House were the exam work will be on display, and IMF graduates will give demonstrations. the students will be at the school from 10.00 until 16.00.
The course is designed to build up to the final exam at the end of the program, which will be judged by Gregor Lersch and two other highly qualified Master Florists. The IMF diploma will be awarded only upon successful completion of the exam, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship.

- Registration is only possible for the full course (Module 1 & 2). It is not possible to register for individual modules.
- When you register, you are committing to both modules.

- Window Displays;

- Tables – Planning, Scheduling & Realisation;
- Working with technical equipment for large room design: Welding & Wood work;
- Bridal designs & techniques;
- Studying a world of wellsprings of inspiration;
- Large room designs on the last day of the IMF at a special location;
Prerequisites
Like the Professional Dutch Floral Design Course. Furthermore, a Level 2 in Dutch Floral Design (ADFD course) or a similar level from another school is also necessary.
Everybody who likes to attend the IMF will be asked to send a portfolio showing a wide variety of their work and c.v. before registration.
Homework
Exam and International Master Florist Diploma
Homework made between Module 1 and Module 2 also count for the exam.
The diploma will only be awarded when both exams are passed.
The works will be judged by Gregor Lersch and 2 well-know international designers on the following criteria:
Design, Idea, Technique, Color Use, Choice/use of Materials, botanical& non botanical , the 2 Assignment books and Nomenclature.
After successfully completing the exam, candidates will be awarded the prestigious IMF diploma, accompanied by an official marks list, and an exclusive golden Boerma Flower pin as a symbol of their achievement at the festive diploma evening ceremony (dress code: ‘tenue de ville’ / semi-formal)

Please note that 17.00 is an estimate. We have experienced that most of the days it can be much later than that!

Course fee
There are two payment options.
Option 1 is to pay the complete course fee in advance.
Option 2 is to pay half as a down-payment and the other half 2 months before the start of the course.
All Inclusive
We believe that in order to have the best experience possible, all should be taken care of. This means that the course fee includes the following:
- All necessary botanical and side materials during classes;
A set of tools (Oasis penknife, Pruning Shears, Wire Cutters) but do bring your own when you want to do so. - Dutch Style Lunch buffet, dinner during the day that we have the evening lesson.
Exam + Certificate or Diploma. - Since this International Master Florist education has very long lesson days and a lot of different materials are used; arrangements will be taken apart and re-used.
Not including
- Tools that you work with at home and that you like bring to the class;
- Materials to practice at home;
- Materials that you like to use for the exam outside of the budget.

Limited spots
We know that courses by Gregor Lersch are really popular. However, we would like to make this a more personal experience.
This is also to ensure that each individual student will have the attention they deserve and need to grow creatively.
