The Funeral Floral Design Level 2 course is ideal for florists with basic floral arranging knowledge. This course focuses on advanced techniques and the creation of larger, more complex funeral arrangements. During these two intensive days, you will work with various materials to create professional funeral pieces that play an important role in the funeral and memorial industry.

Program Level 2 – What will you create?

Day 1

• Urn decoration
• Cross-shaped funeral arrangement in Oasis® Florette

Day 2

• Experimental funeral arrangement with natural materials like wood and branches
• Shared coffin arrangement

• Date: Thursday, June 27 & Friday, June 28, 2024
• Time: 10:00 AM to 3:45 PM (including lunch and breaks)
• Course Fee: €249.50 (includes all materials, lunch, and certificate)

All-Inclusive Content

In this 2-day course, you will receive everything you need to create the funeral arrangements yourself, including:

• Flowers, foliage, and plant materials
• Necessary supplementary materials like moss, ribbons, sticks, wire, and Oasis®
• Coffee, tea, soft drinks, and lunch
• The Boerma Institute English-language certificate of participation

What is not included?

• Tools (e.g., knife, scissors), which can be purchased at our webshop
• Travel and accommodation costs
• The coffin arrangements will remain at the school as group work

Who is this course suitable for?

This course is suitable for florists with basic floral arranging knowledge who want to improve their skills in funeral floral design. It is not required to have a diploma from the DFD vocational training, but entry-level experience is necessary.
