Alex Segura is returning to the Boerma Institut! Part 1 – Bridal Bouquets

Tuesday, October 13 & Wednesday, October 14, 2026

The first part focuses on the design and creation of bridal bouquets. You will explore a range of professional techniques and learn how to build a bridal bouquet into a balanced and elegant design.

Topics include:

• Different styles and shapes of bridal bouquets
• Composition, colour and proportions
• Professional techniques for constructing bridal bouquets
• Combining flowers, foliage and special materials
• Finishing and presentation
• Professional tips, techniques and insights from Alex Segura

Part 2 – Table Arrangements

Thursday, October 15 & Friday, October 16, 2026

The second part focuses on table arrangements. You will learn how to develop floral designs that are not only visually appealing, but also complement the atmosphere, space and setting in which they are presented.

Topics include:

• Different styles and forms of table arrangements
• Composition and spatial design
• Colour, flower and material selection
• Creating a harmonious overall design
• Styling and presentation
• Professional finishing and creative details
