During this 5-day intensive masterclass, you will develop in-depth knowledge and practical skills in texture and color for floral design. You will learn how to combine textures effectively to create harmony and depth, and how to apply colors to enhance emotion and atmosphere in your arrangements.

Frédéric demonstrates how to use both botanical and non-botanical materials, how to combine color and texture, and how to create arrangements that are visually stunning and technically strong.

Texture & Color – June 29 to July 3, 2026

Throughout this 5-day masterclass, you will learn how to combine texture and color to create harmony, depth, and emotion in your floral designs. The first days focus on texture: Frédéric demonstrates how to use botanical and non-botanical materials to develop both visual and tactile textures. Texture forms the foundation of every design and will help you refine your floral work and elevate it to the next level.

The final days focus on color: you will learn everything about color theory and its application in floral design. Color is the first visual impression of an arrangement and has the power to evoke emotions and set a mood. Frédéric will teach you how to combine colors effectively, achieve harmony across color families, and how texture influences the impact of color. This combination develops a stronger artistic vision and allows you to create arrangements that are both technically and visually impressive.

The Synergy Between Texture and Color

By the last day, all elements come together. You will learn how knowledge of texture and color works in synergy to create a cohesive and visually striking design. This masterclass provides a unique opportunity to master these two powerful elements of floral composition.
