Alden Biesen is going big in 2024 with a new flower festival and we are going there for the first time during our annual school outing: Féerie Florale!

The collaboration with the Royal Belgian professional association for florists (Beflorist.be) promises to be a visual spectacle. “Alden Biesen will be transformed into an enchanting fairytale world for four days,” says director Patrick Cornelissen of the Grand Commandery Alden Biesen.

From Friday September 27, until Monday, September 30, 2024, visitors will be immersed in the beautiful world of floral art: a true symbiosis between art, culture and heritage. Of course we will go there too!

On Friday, September 27, a “Floral Hats” day will most likely also be organised. That is our favorite day of the event!

Schedule

• Departure from the Boerma Instituut at 8:30.
• If there are people who want to come with us from Rotterdam/Dordrecht/Breda, that is also possible. Hop on at…..
• Arrival Alden Biesen approximately at 11:00.
• Departure from Alden Biesen to Maastricht at 16:45.
• Dinner in Maastricht (own expense)
• Departure from Maastricht at 19:30.
• Arrival Aalsmeer approximately 22.00.
