Introductory workshops!

Registering for a complete vocational training course can be a big step.
During the introductory workshops you can experience what it is like to take a course or training at the Boerma Instituut. It is a short introduction to flower arranging.
In a workshop of two and a half hours you will be introduced to various elements of Dutch floral art.

There will be an introductory workshop on Friday afternoon, August 30, 2024. This starts at 13:00, we will give a workshop with a presentation about the school and the courses until about 15:45.

Introduction workshop costs €49.50
– Included are all necessary materials to make the flower arrangement, such as the flowers, floral foam and the base.
– The tools are not included; such as a knife, pruning shears and wire cutters.
Don’t have any tools yourself? No problem! You can purchase all kinds of tools in our flower arranging shop.

How does it work
We start the introductory workshop with a presentation of approximately 30 minutes.
During this presentation we will talk about the different courses and there will be time for Q&A.
After the presentation we will start with the introductory workshop, lasting approximately two and a half hours.

2 Day course
If you cannot participate on August 30, we can also recommend a 2-day course. During the 2-day hand-tied bouquets course level 1, you will learn to make 4 different bouquets, which are also useful to make in a flower shop.

This introductory workshop can only be registered online in advance; visitors who are not registered cannot be admitted to the room.
