This course will delve deeper into all the corners of Floristry.
You can recognize Gregor Lersch’s style in many top-level Master Florists around the globe and for good reason: Gregor has been the teacher and mentor of many incredible florists over the last couple of decades.
his 20 day vocational education is fully taught by Gregor Lersch himself. It is split into two parts, ons starting November 5th, 2022 and one starting March 20, 2023, with homework assignments in between. The course builds up towards the exam at the end of the course, which is judged by Gregor and two other highly qualified Master Florists. This means that the qualifications of this diploma are held to high standards and your craftmanship will be IMF certified by Gregor Lersch himself.

In order to be able to join this course and benefit it as much as possible, at the very least a fundamental educational course has to have been followed.
Like the Professional Dutch Floral Design Course.
Furthermore, a Level 2 in Dutch Floral Design (ADFD course) or a similar level from another school is also necessary.

It is expected of the students that they will do the necessary homework and research in between Module 1 and Module 2. For example, sketching and making flower work, learning the botanical names.
Becoming a Master Florist
This fulltime 20 days Master in International Floral Design (IMF), is held in 2 modules of 10 days. In the periode between the modules there will be homework assignments.
Registration is only possible for the complete course, meaning module 1 & 2. It is not possible to register for the modules separately.
Please take into consideration that when you register for the course, you will be registering for both modules!
Exam and Master Florist Diploma
During the IMF education there are two exams. One of which is a theory exam and the other is a practical exam.
At the practical exam students have to make 3 designs/
Homework made between Module 1 and Module 2 also count for the exam.
The diploma will only be awarded when both exams are passed.
The works will be judged by Gregor Lersch and 2 well-know international designers on the following criteria:
Design, technique, Creativity, Color and Material choice, assignment book.
Festive diploma ceremony with the dress code: ‘tenue de ville’ / semi-formal.
Course dates of the International Master Florist Education 2022
Module 1: Saturday, November 5 – Wednesday November 16, 2022
Module 2: Monday March 20 – Friday March 31, 2023. Open House with exhibition on Saturday, April 1st.
The complete course is only € 7.500,-
There are two payment options.
Option 1 is to pay the complete course fee in advance.
Option 2 is to pay half as a down-payment and the other half 2 months before the start of the course.
We believe that in order to have the best experience possible, all should be taken care of. This means that the course fee includes the following:
– All necessary botanical and side materials during classes.
– A set of tools (Oasis penknife, Pruning Shears, Wire Cutters)
– Dutch Style Lunch buffet
– Exam + Certificate or Diploma
Since this Master Course has very long lesson days and a lot of different materials are used; arrangements will be taken apart and re-used.
– Tools that you work with at home and that you like bring to the class;
– Materials to practice at home;
– Materials that you like to use for the exam outside of the budget.
We know that courses by Gregor Lersch are really popular. However, we would like to make this a more personal experience.
This is also to ensure that each individual student will have the attention they deserve and need to grow creatively.
The maximum amount of students for this Master Course is about 15 students.
