At the Boerma Instituut we have been offering the educational and enjoyable 2-day course in Bohemian Style Flower Arrangement for several years now!

Bohemian style floral design is characterized by it’s rustic and nonchalant flower placement with an open silhouet. Leaf materials are often used like Eucalyptus and Asparagus in combination with beautiful open summer flowers. Sometimes in combination with dried materials. All together this makes for a romantic and dreamy appearance.

Day 1 Some theory about the style, practicing a BoHo style handtied bouquet. & Romantic flower arrangement
Day 2 Rustic table arrangement with an silhouette & a flower crown.

Tuesday, April 9 & Wednesday, April 10, 2024
Tuesday, June 18 & Wednesday, June 19
Wednesday, August 28 & Thursday, August 29.

If you have never made a hand tied bouquet before, we recommend that you first have -at least mastered- the spiral technique by taking for example, our Hand tied bouquet course, level 1, prior to taking this 2 days BoHo course.

All-Inclusive

All necessary materials to create the arrangements are included in the price. As well as lunch with some beverage options, coffee/tea during coffee breaks. Of course you can bring your flower arrangement home. The course fee is only € 249,50.

Tools are not included. Please bring your own tools, like;  your own pruning shears, florist knife and a wire cutter. If you do not have these tools, you can buy them in our physical shop on location or order them through our website. If you order them in advance, we will have them ready for you on the day of the course.

The necessary materials include

• all needed flowers & leaf materials;
• all bases/containers needed;
• all side materials, like ribbon, beads, pins and feathers;
• flower tape and all necessary wire types;
• Boerma Instituut Certificate of participance in English.

During the 2 days BoHo course, it is possible to take photos but making videos of the lesson is not allowed. If you share your photos on your socials, you are welcome to tag the Boerma Instituut. Please make sure that you ask the teacher involved if he or she also like to be tagged before you do so.
